John Mark Gahring

John Mark Gahring, 63, went home to be with his Lord on Monday, December 26, 2022 following an unexpected health issue. John was born August 19, 1959 in Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt, Germany during one of his father’s tours-of-duty with the Army. He moved to California in 1978, where he worked for the NH Research Group, now National Instruments for 38 years. He loved walking the beach near his home in Huntington Beach, CA.

John is predeceased by his parents, CW3 Joseph A. and Mary Ann (Palmer) Gahring, He is survived by four siblings and their spouses: Kathryn L. (Samer) Tallaa of Kentland, IN, Joseph M. (Robin) Gahring of Gary, IN, Robert J. (Pamela) McIntosh Gahring of Endicott, NY, and Rebecca L. (Keith) VanDewerker of Worcester, NY, many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

John will be buried next to his parents. Graveside service will be held at 1pm (CST), June 3, 2023 at Riverside Cemetery with Pastor Matt Baughman officiating.
