Wallace C. Donahue

 Wallace C. Donahue, 88, Fowler, IN, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2024 at his home. Born February 12, 1936, in Earl Park, he was the son of the late Edward and Dorothy (Muller) Donahue. Wallace graduated from Freeland Park High School in 1954. He worked as a laboratory/x-ray technician in Red Wing, MN and Hoopeston, IL before he returned to operating the family farm in 1970.

 On July 31,1971 he married Ione Stevens at St. Kevin Catholic Church in Melrose, WI and she survives. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fowler.

 Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Ione Donahue, of Fowler; his children, Mark (Michelle) of Chaska, MN; Eric of Chicago, IL/Lafayette, IN, and Shannon of Naperville, IL; Grandchildren: Luke, Sam, Jack and Morgan; sister, Kathleen Marquardt of Troy, MI; sister-in-law Jayne Donahue of Danville, IL and brother-in-law Russell Stevens (Jennifer) of Holmen, WI.

 He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Richard & Lawrence, and brother-in-law David Marquardt.

 A Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 9am (EST), July 6, 2024 with visitation to follow until the Funeral Mass at 10am (EST) all held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Fowler, Indiana. Interment will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery thereafter with Fr. Sean Aaron officiating. Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart School.
