Steven married his childhood sweetheart, Jane A. Matson, on November 4th, 1967 and they enjoyed 43 years of marriage before her death. Steve had 3 daughters: Kelly (Gary) Roe, Catherine (Scott) Stinson and Tracy (Tyrone) Emilson. 6 grandchildren, Dylan (Erin) Roe, Kristen (Cameron) Kirts, Michael (Shelby) Stinson, Sierra (Delaney) Gardner, Alyssa Stinson and Tristyn (Ashlyn) Emilson and 8 great-grandchildren with one on the way. Steven came from humble beginnings but worked very hard throughout his life as a Contractor and was very successful. He was known to help anyone out who needed it and quietly helped many people with jobs when needed or anything else he could do. Steve was a wonderful provider for his children and grandchildren as they were the most important part of his life. His family was fortunate to have a father and grandfather who could be counted on to be there for any help they needed. He worked on houses, cars, and anything else in between to make sure his family was taken care of. Steve loved nothing more than spending time with his grandchildren and looked forward to seeing them and keeping up with their lives. Steve had many hobbies but perhaps his most proud accomplishment was restoring a 55 Chevy being the same as a car he had as a teenager. Steve loved socializing with people and perhaps the best sign to know that he liked you was if he teased you. Steve had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh and joke.
