Peggy L Thurston

Peggy L. Thurston, 72, of Lafayette, Indiana, passed away on October 19, 2026. A woman of incredible spirit and a "spunky" attitude that brightened any room, Peggy will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Her greatest joy in life was her family. She was a devoted mother who leaves behind a loving legacy in her son, Gary Thurston, and her two daughters, Chye Thurston and Vanessa Thurston. Her warmth and guidance will continue to live on through her nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, who were the pride and joy of her life.

Beyond her role as a matriarch, Peggy was a passionate lover of nature and found great peace and accomplishment in her gardening. Whether she was tending to her plants or spending time with her loved ones, she approached life with a vibrant energy that was truly infectious. Her memory will be cherished as a loving mother and a radiant, enduring presence in the lives of her family and friends.
