Mark Russell Van Vleet, 65, of Goodland, died July 4, 2025 in Brook. He was born in Gary, IN the son of Frank Russell and Sharon Lynn (Norris) Van Vleet on May 24, 1960.
He enjoyed woodworking, camping, music, but most of all spending time with his family. He loved eating pizza. His favorite dessert was chocolate banana pie. His favorite song was “SCHOOL” by Supertamp. Mark loved nothing more than Playing music and spending time with his family.
He had an affection for creating things that most might buy in the store but he would master making them on his own. He had a very infectious laugh. He was very talented in fixing all different kinds of things from electronics, computers, to vehicles, and mowers. But most of all the most interesting fact is he would drop everything for his family and anyone else who needed help. Mark’s favorite place in the world was anywhere he can park his camper. He will also be remembered as an very avid YouTube watcher and the Chicago Bears.
