Marilyn (Coy) Cripe

Marilyn Cripe, 76, of Fowler, Indiana, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on June 8, 2022.

Marilyn was born to Raymond Louis Coy and Elizabeth June Coy on February 19, 1946. Marilyn was a graduate of Battle Ground High School in 1964. She married Marvin F. Cripe Jr. November 5, 1966.

Marilyn retired from State Farm after 50 years of service. Over her lifetime, she was a very active member of many bowling leagues. Marilyn frequently enjoyed luncheons with her former classmates and coworkers. She was a member of the Fowler Christian Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing bingo and buying her lottery tickets.

Marilyn is survived by her two daughters Julie (Robert) Milligan of Fowler, IN and Jamie (Kevin) Kozloski of Bosell, IN. Four granddaughters Sadie Walker (Jared Jackson) of Fowler, IN, Courtney (Justin) Anders of Beaufort, SC, Susan Milligan (Dennis Villinski) of Oxford, IN, and Kamey Kozloski (Nathan Draper) of Fowler, IN, who have blessed Marilyn with ten great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Sue Grant of Clarksville, KY, her sister-in-law Linda Racine of Austin, TX, a very special friend Stanley Rider Sr., as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Raymond and June Coy, her husband Jr., and her twin sister Carolyn Jean Hall.

Donations can be made in Marilyn’s honor to Fowler Christian Church.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 13, 2022 at 2:00pm at Gerts, Windler & Keller Funeral Homes ~ Fowler Chapel with visitation from 12:00pm until the funeral hour. Marilyn will be laid to rest at Fowler Cemetery in Fowler, Indiana.
