Leslie Sheryl (Pruett) DeJaynes Goss

Leslie Sheryl (Pruett) DeJaynes Goss, 71, of Fowler, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2022, surrounded by her children and friends when God took her into his loving care. Leslie was born the daughter of, the late, Leslie Thomas and Frances Pruett on March 5, 1951 in Pittsfield, IL, and attended Pleasant Hill elementary and high schools in Illinois.

She will be remembered for loving to care for her grandchildren, watching TV, reading and listening to her gospel music.  However, her best attribute was being a loving mother, grandmother and dear friend to many.  She never met a stranger!

She is preceded in death by her parents and survived by children, Sheryl Lynn Miller of Fowler, Kimberly Sue (Clark Stewart) Drew of Kokomo, and James Allen (Cynthia McKinney) DeJaynes of Fowler, grandchildren, Tasha Dawn (Jacob Pendleton) Battering, Alexis Morgan (Travis Blair) Ammann, Renea Sue Drew, all of Lafayette also Davon Michael Miller and Blake Christopher of Delphi as well as eight great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Fowler Baptist Church in her honor. A visitation will be held from 5-7pm Thursday, December 8, 2022.  A funeral service will be held at 11am Friday, December 9, 2022 all at the funeral home with a private committal.
