J. Marie (McCoy) Rowe Fogler, 102, of Brook, died June 27, 2023. Marie was born February 22, 1921 the daughter of Robert and Ellen (Webster) McCoy in Ruthton, MN. Marie retired as a bookkeeper.
She assisted with the 4H club, Red Hat Ladies, president of Aim High Home Economics Club, George Ade Hospital Volunteer and an active member of First Christian Church of Brook where she served on the King’s Daughters Ladies group. She loved flowers and gardening and will be sorely missed by all she leaves behind.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, John Thomas Fogler, infant daughter, Karen Beth Rowe, son, William Scott Rowe, brothers and sisters-in-law, Merle McCoy/Connie, Robert McCoy/Dorothy, Estel/Virginia Davis, sisters and brothers-in-law, Margaret/Tom Wilson and Eileen (Davis)/William Woods, step-son, Thomas/Linda. She is survived by son, John Rowe, sister, Georgia Wilson, daughter-in-law, Nancy Rowe, step-son and daughter-in-law, David/Joyce Fogler, countless grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren as well as a host of extended family and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 6th, 2023 at 9:30-until the funeral hour at 12pm (CST) at First Christian Church of Brook with Dr. Chauncey Lattimer officiating. Procession immediately after at Riverside Cemetery and luncheon at the church to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Christian Church of Brook.
