Dale "Grandpa Skyline" Francis Ingram

Dale "Grandpa Skyline" Francis Ingram, 72, of Monon, Indiana, Passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, October 26, 2022 in Goodland Indiana.

Dale was born August 31, 1950 at Methodist Hospital in Gary, Indiana to, the late, Glenn Dale and Lillian Mable (Karsten) Ingram.

Dale was a devoted family man who enjoyed eating out with friends and family, driving his semi (in which he took much pride in his truck), antique shopping with his kids and grandkids. He also loved camping at the river with evening campfires surrounded by loved ones.  Conversations with Dale were always enjoyable which brought smiles and laughter.  He was the ornery old man that liked drinking old coffee and eating everything covered in Tabasco sauce. He had a passion for cooking and getting together to prepare holiday dinners.  He served in the U.S. Army then drove a semi for 50 years.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Shirley May (Stevens) Ingram and 4 children, Shelly (Randy) Conley of Rensselaer, Indiana. James (Stacey) Ingram of Goodland, Indiana.  Cathy Ingram and partner Bill McKinney of Wabash, Indiana, Glenn (Christie) Ingram of Francesville, Indiana, sister Gayle (Bob) Deplenty of Valparaiso, Indiana
12 grandchildren, Anna Barradas, Alora Witham and partner Anthony Carson, Brayton Conley, Briana Allemang Cuculich, Matthew Ingram, Jessica (Taylor) Crumpton, Daniel Ingram, Caden Ingram, Aybree Ingram, Colten Allen and partner Abby Nichole, Brandon and Neenah  Conley, and 12 great-grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Rick Ingram.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 4, 2022 from 11-1pm until the funeral hour at 1pm at the funeral home chapel.  The committal will be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Indiana Motor Truck Association.
