William Edward Weston

William “Bill” E. Weston, 87, of Frankfort, IN and formerly of Brook, IN passed away on June 8, 2023 at IU Arnett Hospital with family by his side.  He was the son of the late Gilbert and Sophia Weston.  Bill graduated from Mt. Ayr High School and served in the United States Army 45th Engineer Construction Battalion.  Bill married his late wife, Phyllis, in 1962 who passed in 2014.

Bill was a farmer who worked as a mechanic and later as a service attendant at the Brook Marathon station when he was not farming.  He was a member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Kentland, IN.  Bill enjoyed bowling and playing dart ball.

Surviving are two sons, Troy Weston (wife: Becky) of Winamac and his family, and Ty Weston (wife: Susan) of Lafayette.

Memorial service will be held at the Brook United Methodist Church Friday, June 16, 2023 at 11 AM (CST) with interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery. Pastor Matt Baughman will be officiating.
